It all started around late summer 2002. Mattias and Benny had talked about starting a thrashmetal band together for a while and decided that it was time to make the talk become reality. In need for a vocalist and rhythm guitarist they asked Andreas to join up, and he accepted. Mattias and Benny have a long history together in different bands from brutal deathmetal in the late 80's to today when Benny works as live drummer in Vintersorg. Benny is also the main man of the melodic thrashmetal band Fission in which Vintersorg is the vocalist. Andreas has also jumped in as a live guitarist in Vintersorg where he stepped aside spring 2002. Besides TME he had played guitar and done vocals in various deathmetal bands during the years. He's also the bass player and main lyric composer of the symphonic metal band Seasons of Storms. Now there was only the bass player spot that was left to filled and the choice was their long time friend Patrik, also bass player in Casket Casey. TME had been born!

However it would take until early winter 2003 until the first rehearsal sessions would take place. During the time that TME started to rehearse, some material had been written and they decided that it was time start bending the strings. During the next year TME rehearsed and wrote material until spring 2004. Because of a lot of activities in the Fission and Vintersorg camps they decided to take it easy with TME rehearsals for a while. Though, they continued to write material.

Late autumn 2004 TME started to rehearse all the material written during the break and things started to sound really good! April 2005 they entered Spiff Studios to record the drums for seven of the songs written and during the summer they continued to record guitars, bass and vocals in DeadSound Studios.

Satisfied with the result they sent two of the songs to a bunch of record labels in the autumn. They got good response on the material from various labels. In December 2005 Carrie and Bradd from Blood and Guts Records approached them with a proposal. Blood and Guts Records are also the home for Mattias and Patrik's horror/rock band Casket Casey. Carrie and Bradd wanted to sign TME to their newly started metal label Aphotic Records and TME accepted the deal! Around this time Patrik stepped down as the bass player of TME and Johan joined in. Johan and Benny had played together for several years in different bands and Johan is also the session bass player in Vintersorg.

During winter/spring 2006 TME continued to write and rehearse material and in summer 2006 they entered the studio to record their debut album now titled Worlds Collide. The music can best be described as agressive/brutal and melodic thrash/death metal!
